For over 20 years, Rhonda Nolan has had her studio and raised her family in the Junction, Toronto. She comes from a formal design background and was trained at Ryerson University. Her paintings appear both in print and in galleries throughout Toronto. Her illustrations are used on greeting cards, in children’s books and for corporate accounts.
She has been involved in organizing arts events in different communities over the years: the Junction Arts Festival in Toronto, and the Little Arts Show in Riverdale, Toronto. She has served as a board member for the Junction Forum for Arts and Culture, for her own community.
As part of her belief that everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves through art, she co-ordinates an art program for the homeless in Toronto’s inner city. From this she derives much inspiration and joy.
